Apple Could Launch Its Own Mobile Network (Rumor)

iPhone 6

Google recently launched its own mobile service and now according to a recent report, Apple has plans to launch a mobile virtual network service or MVNO in the US and Europe.

The news comes in a report from Business Insider which has said that Apple is testing out their new MVNO service in the US.

Apple is apparently also in talks with mobile carriers in Europe about the possibility of launching their new mobile network in Europe.

According to the report, instead of paying your mobile carrier each month for your texts, data and calls you will pay Apple instead of your carrier. It will apparently work in a similar way to Google’s offering and will automatically switch between carriers to give you the best service based on your location.

This is apparently not something we will see soon, Apple has long term plans for their new mobile network service and it could take up to five years before the service launches.
