Apple iOS 9 is expected to be made official at Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference next month, the software should launch in September with the new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus.

Now according to a recent report from Mark Gurman of 9 to 5 Mac, Apple iOS 9 will come with a new ‘Home’ app which will be used to control Apple HomeKit devices.

Apple unveiled the HomeKit at last years WWDC and they are expected to announce a range of new features for the software at this years conference.

The Home app and Apple’s Siri will be used to manage a range of connected devices from your iPhone and iPad, like the Nest Thermostat or wireless door locks and more.

The Home app is currently in the early stages so it may not show up as part of the Apple iOS 9 announcement next month, although it is expected to be ready to launch with the new iPhones in September.
