We have been hearing quite a bit about the new iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus over the last few weeks and now we have some more details on some of the features that iOS 9 will bring to the devices.

According to a recent report by Mark Gurman from 9 to 5 Mac, iOS 9 will bring Force Touch to the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, Apple has apparently designed iOS 9 to be Force Touch ready for the new devices.

The new iPhone 6S smartphone will apparently come with a Force Touch display with haptic feedback and developers will apparently be able to integrate Force Touch into their apps.

Force Touch on Apple’s new iPhones will bring similar functions to the handsets that is built into the trackpads in Apple;s new MacBooks and MacBook Pro.

Apple are expected to announce iOS 9 at their World Wide Developer Conference next month, although the news of the Force Touch support is not expected to be announced as this is tied to the new iPhone handsets.

The new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus are rumored to keep the design of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus but will come with new hardware inside.

The devices are said to be powered by a new Apple A9 processor and will apparently feature more RAM than the current devices. The handsets are also said to get a new fingerprint scanner which is said to be more accurate than the current version.

Apple are also expected to give their new iPhones updated cameras and there are rumors that the handset will come equipped with a 12 megapixel camera which uses a Sony sensor.

We previously heard a rumor that Apple may announce their new iPhones early in August and this could mean that the devices will launch in early September.
