iPhone 6S Camera Could Use a Sony Sensor
We recently heard a rumor that the new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus would come with a 12 megapixel camera and according to a recent report the handsets will feature a Sony sensor.
The 12 megapixel camera in the new iPhone 6S smartphones will apparently use Sony’s RGBW Coding technology which is designed to provide better quality photos in low light conditions.
As well as anew cameras the next generation iPhone is expected to come with a new mobile processor, the Apple A9 and more RAM than the current handsets.
Apple are expected to use the existing design of the iPhone 6 for the new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus handsets, we are not expecting to see the design change until 2016. There is also rumored to be fourth color option launching this year, a Rose Gold iPhone to match the Apple Watch.
The handsets are also rumored to get a new fingerprint sensor which is said to be more accurate than the sensor used in the current devices.
We also heard recently that the new iPhones may be unveiled at a press event in August, Apple has in the past announced the devices in September, this would mean that Apple could launch the devices earlier than last year, possibly around the start of September.
The new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus are expected to be the first devices to launch with Apple’s new mobile OS, iOS 9 which is expected to be announced at their Worldwide Developer Conference next month.
